Silicone Grease Compound is a high quality multi-purpose electrical insulating compound with excellent water and moisture repellent characteristics which does not harden with age and is particularly useful on high voltage electrical connections, ignition systems and electronic equipment to eliminate electrical tracking.
Siliconecan be used as a sealing, potting or packing grease for electronic equipment, glands, joints, screws etc., as well as acting as an excellent lubricant at the same time. Silicone Compound may also be used as a release agent in moulding and casting operations, as a glass stop-cock lubricant or as a cable lubricant prior to the cable being drawn through conduits, harnesses etc.
One small squirt to Connector plugs before connecting to Radio prevents electrical tracking and corrosion.
